Just like soul mates, come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave, I believe the same for “The One”. They come to teach us what we need to learn and then depart, leaving us broken in all the right places. I think I agree with you.
There are soul mates, and one loves them intensely, totally desperately, soul changing, spiritual sort of love. And then they leave... most of us have a couple of those, and the more you have, the more life needs to teach you. However, I believe in the many Ones... I think human character is so complex that there can't be an exact match, we are not computers. But there are types... archetypes... personalities, if you will, that truly meshes well with ours. These I like to call the ones. :) And these sort of loves, are patient, kind, never jarring, like the perfect cup of tea on a cold night. :)

I dont know if you even read these comments but I hope you do. I substantially agree that self love will open the flood gates for love in general. Excuse my french but sometimes people have their heads so far up their ass they refuse to understand this concept. It's a tradgedy that people will end up dating 'the one' over and over again when in actuality the one person we should love more than anyone is ourselves. As always, love the post!
